Responsibilities Include:

• Ability to sell proactively
• Great communication skills
• Surprise and delight our guests with consistent, enthusiastic service
• Assist in all aspects of store operations with particular emphasis on cleanliness inside and out, fullness of all shelves and displays, signage quality and excellent customer service
• Contribute to a positive, enthusiastic and inclusive work environment
• Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered and team up with coworkers to offer five-star customer service
• Respond quickly to customer needs, questions, and request assistance when necessary
• Maintain an on going awareness of all product knowledge and current or upcoming products and trends
• Greeting our guests at all times within the store and providing friendly, outgoing and prompt service
• Operate our point of sale systems, make correct change and accurately conduct credit/debit card transactions and account for all monies
• Ensure all transactions are correct and maintain accuracy of coin for making change
• Ensure complete knowledge of the Beach Liquors Rewards program to ensure all guests are handled properly 
• Practice and maintain Responsible Vendor Status in accordance with local and state laws, including identification verification and intoxication prevention
• Set and achieve the highest standards in retail execution
• Communicate timely with Store Directors regarding proper operations of the store
• Perform other tasks, duties or projects as assigned 

Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position-stand/walk for 100% of shift, reach, bend, stoop frequently and lift as much as 50 pounds
• Able to work a flexible schedule as business requires, night and weekends especially during holiday periods and maintain scheduling flexibility
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver a five-star experience
• Previous experience in a team environment requiring professional and effective communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other team members and management
• Ability to use technology applicable to the position and access information needed to complete daily responsibilities
• Possess a desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of product and services
• Ability to follow directions and established procedures and successful completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
• Demonstrate creativity in promoting sales, merchandising or marketing
• Food, hospitality and/or retail experience desirable
